About this USA West Coast trip

The West Coast mixes theme parks, big cities and some of America's greatest national parks. You start in Los Angeles with a full day at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Walk of Fame and sunset on Santa Monica Pier. A short flight takes you to Las Vegas for the Strip and the Bellagio fountains, and from there a full-day trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The trip ends in San Francisco with cable cars, the Golden Gate Bridge and a day among the granite cliffs and waterfalls of Yosemite. Domestic flights keep travel times short, so there is more time for sightseeing.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the US visa take?

Indian passport holders need a B1/B2 visitor visa with an interview at a US consulate. Waiting times for interviews can be long, so start the process several months before you plan to travel.

Is Yosemite open all year?

Yosemite Valley is open all year, but Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road close in winter. Some summer days may need a reservation to enter the park; we handle that with the tour operator.

Can children enjoy Las Vegas?

Yes. Casinos are for adults only, but the fountains, the High Roller wheel, M&M's World and many shows are family-friendly.

Can we take a helicopter over the Grand Canyon?

Yes. Helicopter flights from Las Vegas to the West Rim are a popular add-on (approx. USD 400–600 per person). We can replace the South Rim coach trip with one on request.

Is vegetarian food easy to find?

Very easy. California has a large Indian community, and vegetarian food is everywhere in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
