About this Lakshadweep Islands trip

Lakshadweep is 36 coral islands 200–400 km off the Kerala coast, and only a handful are open to visitors. This trip flies you from Kochi to Agatti, whose lagoon is one of the most beautiful in the archipelago, for a beach-cottage stay. Days are for snorkelling over reefs with turtles and parrotfish, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking on water so clear the boat seems to float, and a full-day boat trip to the uninhabited sandbanks and the lagoon of Bangaram and Thinnakara. Certified divers — or first-timers on a discover-scuba session — can dive with local PADI centres. We handle the entry permit, which every visitor needs, and the inter-island transfers.

Frequently asked questions

Do Indian citizens need a permit?

Yes. Every visitor who is not a Lakshadweep resident needs an entry permit from the Lakshadweep Administration. We apply with your ID and documents; allow at least 2–3 weeks before travel.

Is alcohol available?

Lakshadweep is largely dry; alcohol is not served on inhabited islands like Agatti. Please don't carry any.

Can non-swimmers snorkel?

Yes — guides provide life jackets and the lagoon is shallow and calm. Scuba try-dives are also possible for non-swimmers under close supervision.

Why is the price higher than other domestic trips?

Limited flights, small island inventory and the cost of shipping everything to the islands. The package includes the Kochi–Agatti flights and all meals.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, for families who love the beach. Facilities are simple, so bring any baby supplies you need.
