About this Udaipur & Mount Abu trip
Udaipur is Rajasthan's romantic heart: white palaces reflected in Lake Pichola, rooftop dinners facing the Lake Palace and lanes full of miniature painters. This holiday gives it the time it deserves, adds a day out to Kumbhalgarh — whose 36-km wall is among the longest in the world — and then climbs to Mount Abu, the state's only hill station, for the exquisitely carved marble of the Dilwara Jain temples, boating on Nakki Lake and sunset from the Aravallis' highest ridge.
Three nights in the City of Lakes with a Kumbhalgarh day trip, then the marble Dilwara temples and Nakki Lake at Mount Abu.

Non-Jain visitors are typically allowed from 12 noon to about 6 pm. Phones, cameras, leather belts and bags must be deposited at the entrance, so plan to carry little.
Can we add Ranakpur?
Yes. It fits into the Kumbhalgarh day (adds about 1.5 hours) or on the drive to Mount Abu. Ranakpur opens to non-Jain visitors in the afternoon.
Is Mount Abu crowded?
It gets busy on long weekends, Diwali and the May–June summer holidays. Weekdays outside those periods are calm.
Can we stay in a lake-view hotel in Udaipur?
Yes. Lake-facing rooms near Lal Ghat and Gangaur Ghat are available at a supplement; we will quote options for your dates.
Which railway station serves Mount Abu?
Abu Road, about 28 km (45 minutes) downhill, with direct trains to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur.
