About this Sikkim trip
Sikkim packs an extraordinary amount into a small state — Kanchenjunga on the skyline, glacial lakes at 3,750 metres, monasteries in the pines and some of the friendliest, cleanest towns in the Himalaya. You'll spend three nights in Gangtok with a permit-run excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, then cross to West Sikkim for two nights in Pelling, where the sun rises straight onto the world's third-highest mountain.
Glacial Tsomgo Lake, Rumtek Monastery and Kanchenjunga views from Pelling in the cleanest state in India.
