About this Ranthambore Tiger Safari trip
Ranthambore is the reserve that made India's tigers famous — big cats lounging beside lakes, crossing old stone gateways and patrolling the dry dhok forest in broad daylight. This short holiday from Jaipur or Delhi includes three safaris across different zones, so you see the park at dawn and dusk from more than one angle, plus a climb up to the UNESCO-listed Ranthambore Fort and its much-loved Trinetra Ganesh temple.
Gypsy and Canter safaris in Ranthambore's dry forests, ancient fort ruins and the Trinetra Ganesh temple.

Frequently asked questions
When is Ranthambore open?
The core zones (1–5) are open from 1 October to 30 June and close for the monsoon. Some buffer zones (6–10) stay open longer. Safari timings shift with sunrise and sunset through the season.
Gypsy or Canter — what's the difference?
A Gypsy is a 6-seat open jeep — quieter and more agile. A Canter is a 20-seat open truck — cheaper and fun for groups, but noisier. We include both so you experience each.
Can we choose our safari zone?
Zones are allotted by the forest department's online system and cannot be guaranteed. Booking 60–90 days ahead gives the best chance of the popular zones.
Will we definitely see a tiger?
No sighting is guaranteed, but Ranthambore's tigers are used to vehicles. With three safaris, most guests see at least one tiger between November and May.
Is the fort visit tiring?
It involves a steady climb of about 15–20 minutes up stone steps. Seniors can go at their own pace; the views over the lakes are worth it.
