About this Switzerland trip

Switzerland is famous for its snow-covered Alps, crystal-clear lakes, chocolate-box villages and some of the most scenic train journeys on earth. This seven-day loop runs on a Swiss Travel Pass from Zurich to Lucerne, into the Bernese Oberland at Interlaken, up to Jungfraujoch at 3,454 m, across to car-free Zermatt beneath the Matterhorn and out through Geneva. Trains do the driving, so every transfer doubles as sightseeing, and the pace leaves room for a lake cruise, a cable car or simply a long lunch with a view.

Do I need a visa for Switzerland?

Yes. Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa. We prepare your document checklist, cover letter and itinerary, and help book the VFS appointment. Apply 6–8 weeks before travel.

Is Jungfraujoch safe for seniors?

Generally yes — it is reached entirely by train. At 3,454 m some guests feel mild breathlessness, so walk slowly and stay hydrated. Guests with heart or lung conditions should check with their doctor first.

Will we get Indian food?

Yes. Four Indian dinners are included, and Lucerne, Interlaken and Zurich all have Indian restaurants. Vegetarian and Jain meals can be arranged on request.

Is this trip good for kids?

Very. Children under 16 travel free on trains with a Swiss Family Card when accompanied by a parent, and the Snow Fun Park at Jungfraujoch is a highlight for them.

Can I see snow in summer?

Yes — Jungfraujoch, Mount Titlis and Gornergrat all have snow year-round.
