Tirumala's Sri Venkateswara temple is one of the most visited shrines in the world, and the most common worry for families is planning the darshan. This weekend package from Hyderabad takes care of that. You travel by AC train overnight, stay in a comfortable hotel in Tirupati and go up the Seshachalam hills by car for your pre-booked ₹300 Special Entry Darshan, with time at Akasa Ganga, Papavinasanam and the Srivari Padalu viewpoint. Frequently asked questions

How is the darshan booked?

TTD releases ₹300 Special Entry Darshan tickets online, usually about three months ahead. We book on the TTD portal with each pilgrim's Aadhaar details, so please share them when you confirm.

How long does darshan take?

With a Special Entry ticket it usually takes 2–4 hours from the reporting point. On festival days and long weekends it can take longer.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, TTD expects traditional Indian attire for darshan. Western wear like jeans, shorts and T-shirts is not permitted in the queue complex.

Can seniors get special darshan?

TTD offers a separate darshan for senior citizens (65+) and differently-abled devotees with limited daily slots. We'll guide you on booking and arrange wheelchair assistance where possible.

Is non-vegetarian food or alcohol allowed?

No. Tirumala is strictly vegetarian and alcohol- and tobacco-free. All meals in this package are pure vegetarian.

Can we go by flight or road instead?

Yes. Hyderabad–Tirupati flights take about an hour, and a private car takes 9–10 hours. We'll reprice the package for your preference.
