About this Maharashtra Jyotirlinga Yatra trip
Of the twelve Jyotirlingas, three are in Maharashtra, and this five-day yatra links them in one comfortable loop. In Nashik you see Ramkund on the Godavari and the Kalaram temple at Panchavati. At Trimbakeshwar, near the source of the Godavari on Brahmagiri, the linga has three small faces representing Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. You'll attend an evening aarti at Shirdi Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir, then continue to Grishneshwar — the twelfth Jyotirlinga, where men enter bare-chested — and the Kailasa temple at Ellora, carved from a single rock. The trip ends in the forested Sahyadris at Bhimashankar, source of the Bhima river and home of the Indian giant squirrel, before dropping you in Pune.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need to book darshan in advance?
General darshan needs no booking at any of the three Jyotirlingas. Trimbakeshwar has a paid ₹200 fast-darshan line, and Shirdi aarti passes are booked online on the Sai Baba Sansthan site; we help with both.
Can we touch the linga?
At Grishneshwar devotees can usually touch the linga, provided men are bare-chested. At Trimbakeshwar the linga sits in a depression and is viewed from the doorway; Bhimashankar allows close darshan on non-peak days.
Is Ellora open every day?
No, Ellora is closed on Tuesdays. If your dates fall that way, we swap Day 3 and Day 4 activities.
How do I book a Narayan Nagbali or Kaal Sarp puja?
These are performed by registered priests at Trimbakeshwar and usually need an overnight stay and fixed muhurat dates. Tell us when booking and we will adjust the itinerary.
