About this Andaman Islands trip
The Andamans are India's answer to the tropical-island dream — powder-white sand, water so clear you can see your feet in three metres of it, and reefs a short boat ride from the shore. This six-day trip balances history in Port Blair (the Cellular Jail and its moving light-and-sound show) with two nights on Havelock for Radhanagar Beach and Elephant Beach snorkelling, and a quiet night on Neil Island's natural rock bridge coast.
Port Blair's Cellular Jail, Radhanagar Beach on Havelock and coral reefs off Elephant Beach and Neil Island.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a passport or permit?
No. Indian citizens only need a government photo ID. Foreign nationals get a Restricted Area Permit on arrival.
Can non-swimmers snorkel?
Yes. Snorkelling at Elephant Beach uses life jackets and a guide. Discover scuba dives are also open to non-swimmers aged 10 and above.
Is mobile network available?
Airtel, BSNL and Jio work in Port Blair and Havelock; Neil has patchy data. Expect slower internet than on the mainland.
What if ferries are cancelled?
Rough seas occasionally cancel ferries, mostly in the monsoon. We rebook the next sailing; extra hotel nights in that case are at actuals.
Is it good for a honeymoon?
Very. We can add a candle-light beach dinner, flower bed decoration and a sea-view room on Havelock.
