About this USA East Coast trip

The classic first trip to America. You spend three nights in New York for the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire State Building and a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Then you drive south through Philadelphia, birthplace of American independence, to Washington DC for the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian museums, which are free to enter. The finale is Niagara Falls, where you sail into the spray of Horseshoe Falls on the Maid of the Mist and watch the falls lit up at night. It suits families visiting relatives on the East Coast as well as first-time visitors.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the US visa take?

Indian passport holders need a B1/B2 visitor visa with an interview at a US consulate. Interview waiting times can be several months, so apply as early as possible. We help with the DS-160 and documents, but the interview slot depends on the consulate.

Do I need a Canada visa to see Niagara Falls?

Not on this trip. We stay on the American side, which has the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds. Crossing to the Canadian side needs a separate Canada visa, which we can arrange if you want both.

Can we add time with relatives in the US?

Yes. Many guests extend in New Jersey or near Washington. We can change your return date and keep the rest of the package the same.

Is vegetarian food easy to find?

Very easy. New York, New Jersey and the DC area have many Indian restaurants, and most American restaurants list vegetarian options clearly.

Is the trip suitable for seniors?

Yes. The pace is steady and drives are broken up with stops. Manhattan involves walking, but taxis and the subway are easy alternatives.
