About this Iceland trip
Iceland is the ultimate nature trip: a small island where waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes and geothermal pools sit within a day's drive of each other. This round trip starts with a soak in the Blue Lagoon, follows the Golden Circle to the tectonic rift at Thingvellir, the spouting Strokkur geyser and Gullfoss, then runs along the south coast past Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss to the icebergs of Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. It ends on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula at the much-photographed Kirkjufell. Between September and March, every clear night is a chance to see the Northern Lights.
Land of fire and ice: thundering waterfalls, black-sand beaches and dancing auroras.

Frequently asked questions
Do Indians need a visa for Iceland?
Yes. Iceland is part of the Schengen Area, so Indian passport holders need a Schengen short-stay visa, applied for through the Icelandic visa partner (or the embassy handling Iceland in India). A valid multiple-entry Schengen visa from another member state also works.
How do I fly to Iceland from India?
There are no direct flights. Typical routings connect in a European hub such as London, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Helsinki, then fly Icelandair or a partner to Keflavík — about 15–20 hours in total.
Are the Northern Lights guaranteed?
No. You need dark, clear skies and solar activity. Between late September and March, a week-long trip with nights outside Reykjavik gives you a good chance, but weather decides.
How cold does it get?
Less than most people expect: winter averages around −1 to 3°C on the south coast and summer around 10–15°C. Wind and rain make it feel colder, so waterproof layers matter more than heavy coats.
Is Iceland expensive?
Yes, it is one of the costliest destinations in Europe, especially food. Our package includes breakfasts, several dinners and all key activities so there are no big surprises.
Is vegetarian food available?
Yes. Reykjavik has plenty of vegetarian and Indian restaurants, and supermarkets stock ready meals. In the countryside, choices are fewer, so we pre-inform hotels.
