About this Scotland trip
This trip starts in Edinburgh's medieval Old Town, with the castle on its volcanic rock, the Royal Mile running down to Holyrood Palace, and Arthur's Seat above the city. Then it heads north into the Highlands through Pitlochry to Inverness, along Loch Ness to the ruins of Urquhart Castle, and on to Eilean Donan, perhaps the most photographed castle in Scotland. Two nights on the Isle of Skye give you time for the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing, Kilt Rock and the Fairy Pools. On the way back you drive through Glencoe, the dramatic glen where much of Scotland's history was fought out. Small-group coach touring means you see the scenery instead of watching the road.
Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, Loch Ness, Eilean Donan, Glencoe and the cliffs of the Isle of Skye.

Frequently asked questions
What visa do I need for Scotland?
Scotland is part of the UK, so you need a UK Standard Visitor visa. Apply 6–8 weeks before travel. We help with the checklist, cover letter, hotel and flight bookings and your VFS appointment in Hyderabad.
What is the weather like?
Even in summer, expect 12–20°C with sunshine and showers on the same day. Layers and a waterproof jacket matter more than anything else you pack.
Are the walks on Skye difficult?
The Old Man of Storr path is a steady 45-minute climb to the main viewpoint. The Fairy Pools walk is mostly flat but can be muddy. Anyone who prefers to skip a walk can enjoy the views from the road.
Will I get Indian food?
Edinburgh, Inverness and even Portree have Indian restaurants. Three Indian dinners are included, and vegetarian options are easy to find throughout.
Is this tour suitable for senior travellers?
Yes. Coach touring keeps walking optional, the hotels have lifts where available, and the pace allows rest. Mention mobility needs and we will arrange ground-floor rooms.
