Frequently asked questions

Do Indians need a visa for Georgia?

Yes, but it's easy. Indian passport holders can apply for a Georgia e-visa online (usually 5–10 working days). If you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen visa or residence permit, you may enter visa-free — we check your eligibility.

Is vegetarian food available?

Yes. Khachapuri (cheese bread), lobio (bean stew), pkhali and badrijani (aubergine with walnuts) are vegetarian staples, and Tbilisi has several Indian restaurants.

Can we see snow?

From December to March, Gudauri and Kazbegi are usually snow-covered, and Gudauri is a ski resort. In May–June you'll still see snow on the peaks.

Is the Military Road safe in winter?

It's well maintained, but the Jvari Pass can close briefly after heavy snowfall. Our drivers use winter tyres and we keep a flexible day to reschedule.

Do I have to drink wine on the winery visit?

Not at all. Tastings are optional, and wineries also serve fresh grape juice and churchkhela, a walnut-and-grape sweet.
