Frequently asked questions

Do Indians need a visa for Hong Kong?

Indian passport holders can visit Hong Kong for up to 14 days without a visa, but must complete the free online Pre-arrival Registration (PAR) before travel. We do this for you; carry the printed slip.

And for Macau?

Indian passport holders are currently granted visa-free entry to Macau for up to 30 days on arrival. Rules can change, so we reconfirm before departure.

Is vegetarian food easy to find?

Tsim Sha Tsui has many Indian restaurants, and Po Lin Monastery serves a vegetarian lunch. Disneyland and Ocean Park have vegetarian options too.

Is the trip good for toddlers?

Very good. Hong Kong is clean, safe and stroller-friendly, with lifts at most MTR stations. Children under 3 enter Disneyland free.

When is typhoon season?

From June to September. Tours run, but outdoor plans may shift if a typhoon signal is raised. October to April is drier and more comfortable.
