About Saudi Arabia

For most travellers from Hyderabad, a journey to Saudi Arabia means one thing: Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage to Makkah, followed by a visit to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Our 11-day group journey is planned so that pilgrims can give their full attention to worship. You fly from Hyderabad to Jeddah, already in Ihram, and travel by coach to Makkah, where five nights in a hotel within walking distance of Masjid al-Haram allow you to perform Umrah calmly and return for every prayer.

An experienced group leader and an Aalim travel with the group and guide you through each rite, from the Niyyah and Talbiyah at the Miqat to Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir. Guided Ziyarat in Makkah covers Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira, Jabal Thawr, Mina, Muzdalifah and the plains of Arafat. The Haramain high-speed train then carries you to Madinah in a little over two hours.

Madinah is gentler and quieter. Five nights near Masjid an-Nabawi give time for prayers, sending salaam at the Prophet's resting place and a visit to Riyad ul-Jannah with a Nusuk permit. Ziyarat here includes Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and the martyrs' graveyard, and the date farms. The cooler months from October to March are the most comfortable, and Ramadan departures are arranged on request for those seeking its special reward. We handle visas, Nusuk registration, vaccination guidance and Hyderabadi-style halal meals, so your days can be given entirely to ibadah.

When to go

Best time

Cooler months

October to March

Daytime 25–32°C in Makkah, cooler evenings in Madinah. The most comfortable time for Tawaf and Ziyarat.

Ramadan

Shifts about 11 days earlier each year

Spiritually rewarding but extremely crowded, especially in the last ten nights; hotel rates are at their highest.

Summer

April to September

Daytime temperatures of 40–45°C. Umrah is still possible, with Tawaf done at night, but tiring for seniors. Umrah pauses around Hajj.

Getting there from Hyderabad

By flight

Direct flights from RGIA (HYD) to Jeddah (JED) by Saudia, IndiGo and flynas, about 5 hr to 5 hr 30 min. Returns can be from Madinah (MED), often with one stop.

By road

Jeddah airport to Makkah is about 1 hr 15 min by private AC coach; Makkah to Madinah is by Haramain train or about 5 hr by road.

Door-to-door

Flights, transfers and stays booked together

Every package includes airport pickup and drop on the ground.

  • Keep yourself hydrated with Zamzam, use an umbrella against the sun, and rest between Tawaf and Sa'i.
  • Install the Nusuk app before travel; it is used for Umrah permits and booking a visit to Riyad ul-Jannah.
