About this Thailand: Phuket & Krabi Honeymoon trip

This is a slow, beach-first honeymoon on Thailand's Andaman coast. Three nights in a Phuket beach resort give you a speedboat day to the Phi Phi Islands, with Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and snorkelling over coral, and a sea-canoe trip through the limestone towers of Phang Nga Bay to James Bond Island. Then you cross to Krabi, quieter and greener, with sheer cliffs dropping into the sea at Railay and Ao Nang. A longtail-boat four-island tour, a couple's Thai massage and a private candlelight dinner on the beach are all built in. Days are unhurried, with no early-morning city tours.

Frequently asked questions

Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?

Indian passport holders currently qualify for visa-exempt entry for tourism, but Thailand has changed the length of stay more than once. We confirm the rule before you fly, and every visitor must also submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online, which we file for you.

When is the best time for a beach honeymoon here?

November to April brings calm, clear seas. From May to October the Andaman coast gets monsoon swells, and some island tours, including Maya Bay, can be cancelled for safety.

Can we upgrade to a pool villa?

Yes. Most of our partner resorts in both Phuket and Krabi offer private pool villas. Ask us for the supplement, which is usually priced per night.

Is Maya Bay open?

Maya Bay reopened with visitor limits after its restoration. Swimming is not allowed and it closes for about two months each year (usually August to September) so the reef can recover. Tours visit the viewpoint boardwalk when it is open.

Is Indian food available?

Patong, Kata and Ao Nang all have Indian restaurants, and resort breakfasts usually include Indian dishes. Vegetarian Thai food is easy to order: ask for 'jay' or 'mangsawirat'.
